Skóla- og frí­stund­ast­arf í Mos­fells­bæ fell­ur nið­ur á mánu­dag

Eins og kom­ið hef­ur fram í fjöl­miðl­um í dag hef­ur heil­brigð­is­ráð­herra ákveð­ið að virkja heim­ild­ir sótt­varna­laga sem fel­ur m.a. í sér að skóla­hald verð­ur tak­markað tíma­bund­ið. Nán­ari út­færsl­ur verða unn­ar sam­kvæmt til­mæl­um stjórn­valda.

Sveit­ar­fé­lög­in á höf­uð­borg­ar­svæð­inu vinna nú að skipu­lagn­ingu skólastarfs m.v. of­an­greind­ar ákvarð­an­ir. Þeg­ar hef­ur ver­ið ákveð­ið að mánu­dag­inn 16. mars verði starfs­dag­ur í grunn- og leik­skól­um á höf­uð­borg­ar­svæð­inu til þess að stjórn­end­ur og starfs­menn grunn- og leik­skóla geti skipu­lagt skóla­starf­ið sem best á þessu tíma­bili sem tak­mörk­un­in nær til.

For­eldr­ar leik- og grunn­skóla­barna eru beðn­ir um fylgjast vel með upp­lýs­ing­um sem birt­ast munu um helg­ina og á mánu­dag­inn m.a. á heima­síð­um sveit­ar­fé­lag­anna og heima­síð­um grunn- og leik­skóla. Þá eru í und­ir­bún­ingi sam­eig­in­leg­ar leið­bein­ing­ar sveit­ar­fé­laga á höf­uð­borg­ar­svæð­inu um frí­stunda­heim­ili, íþrótt­ast­arf, íþrótta­mann­virki, tón­list­ar­skóla, skóla­hljóm­sveit­ir og að­r­ar tóm­stund­ir barna.

Schools closed on Monday 16 March due to org­an­izati­on­al day

Compuls­ary schools, preschools and day care centres in the grea­ter capital area will be closed on Monday 16 March, as school mana­gers and general staff must org­an­ize school acti­vities for the next 4 weeks, in accor­d­ance to new directi­ves from the Min­istry of Health and the Director of comm­unica­ble disease control.  The Mini­ster of Health has declared a ban on mass gat­her­ings as of midnig­ht 15 March in or­der to curb fur­t­her spread of the corona virus Covid-19.

All the municipalities in the grea­ter Reykja­vík area have sent out a comm­un­al notice about compulsory schools, preschools and af­ter-school programs.

The Mini­ster of Health has decided to put in or­der tempor­ary restricti­ons on schools. This me­ans that compulsory schools and preschools in the country will have to operate accord­ing to lim­itati­ons imposed by comm­unica­ble disease control. The municipalities in the Reykja­vík area will work in accor­d­ance with the restricti­ons to org­an­ize school acti­vity.

A decisi­on has al­rea­dy been taken to keep all compulsory and preschool children at home on Monday 16 March, so that all school staff can have an org­an­izati­on­al day.

Par­ents and guar­di­ans are asked to stay al­ert to new instructi­ons and in­formati­on that will be pu­blis­hed over the weekend and on Monday, on our website and the websites of compulsory- and preschools.

New instructi­ons about day care centers, sport­ing acti­vities, sport facilities, school bands and ot­her leis­ure acti­vities of children are cur­rently being revised.
